The Beehive Cluster

The Beehive Cluster

When young Trudi Larsson spends Christmas in Sweden, she embarks on the adventure of a lifetime. Something strange is happening in the forest: animals are disappearing, people are losing their memories. When her own grandfather goes missing, she determines to try and find out why.  Somewhere, at the bottom of the mystery, lies Laser Wag, the miracle mobile phone company, with its satellite projects, spy networks, and plans for global domination. Somewhere too are the threatened lines of myth and meaning her grandfather confided to her from his store of Sami legends. Which to trust? The so-seductive, so-friendly promises of a technology to cure all ills, or her own rebellious spirit, which insists it knows better and will lead her to the threshold of death.
